For the attention of CR Orhntieshe, Named as Mediator by authority of the Ten Tribes.
I need help.
Before I can risk broadsheets and their usual hysterical hyperventilation, I was hoping you might be willing to do what you can to lean on the Surveyors. They've well and truly hopped into their own personal Quad with Fastrock. Even threats of litigation just aren't enough. I know those miners were assigned this contract, but we need somebody from the proper conclave to listen to us. And both mother and second-father also happen to be ranking too.
We need things to slow down. Something is wrong.
Those of us stationed here have already begun to have the visions. Not even the usual deathview. You told us about how you had them once before, when you visited Garash. You weren't even a Vessel and you felt it in your bones the moment you were beneath the earth. But this isn't like the sands beneath their Mother and Father. There's an instability here. It isn't like our Conduit either. The miners are already encountering the wraiths and those never come this close to the surface.
I think we're expanding too fast, too quickly. Mining too much, exhausting veins that shouldn't be this rich in the first place. But nobody is listening to us. We've even told them there could be a prime instability, but they don't seem to care! It's the help Fastrock is getting, that deal they made.
I wouldn't even send this through the ether if I knew what else I could do. I think they're watching me after I already risked a Silentium breach to object. But we cannot trust this foreigner. If he can give us what he promises he can, it could change everything. I don't believe he can, and if he can't we might be destroying everything we've built. Most of the rest of us agree with me, and I'll be speaking with the holdout - Elnethe - tonight. Maybe if we have a united front, but I doubt it.
You're my last option before I go public. I don't know who else to turn to. A direct order from the council could stop it.
Please, idene.
