Contention for Grand Libretto

My greetings to our esteemed Symphonists.

I come to you this weave with two things. First, I come with a
contention.
Librarian Nordin has served his term well. His accomplishments and his
work for the Symphonium and our Hallifax both has been more than
fruitful. His presence in the Symphonium is so great that his absence,
naturally, casts a great shadow. It is my hope that this shadow will be
lifted with my hand.

I am merely an Understudy presently, and it is true that I am a
relatively young member of our guild. Yet I have what all who serve an
organization as large and tight-knit as our Symphonium must
have--unwavering devotion towards our guild, the passion to lead it to
flourish, the humility to keep an open mind and a listening ear, and the
memory of my novice days.
I still remember how it was like back when first entering the
Symphonium. The uncertainty, the feeling of being lost. If it were not
for the kind attentions of older, experienced Symphonists, I would not
have grown as much as I have, nor would I ever have found my two great
wishes: the wish to see our Symphonium bustling and thriving, and the
wish to help those who feel as lost as I have felt.

Fellow Symphonists, I have come to you with a contention--now I come to
you with myself.
The Symphonium is my one true home--never have I felt a need to stray
from this guild, and never will I feel the need to flee. I pledge to
devote my time and efforts to keep our community hale and thriving. I
pledge to listen to you. One solo performer is not enough; every voice
must join in song if the Symphonium is to move forward. I will be there
and awake to hear each one, no matter how small or uncertain.

If you deem me worthy, I stand ready to serve.

Faithfully In Service,
Mica Windwhisper-Dewcrest
