Poetry News Post #947

Loss

Written by: Esher Vaskal
Date: Monday, September 2nd, 2013
Addressed to: Everyone

I see you in the darkness
A face blurred by the rain
Peace permeates throughout you
Your slender, fragile frame
I know I will never know you
But I can't keep the thoughts away
You'll be mine in my daydreams
And that's how you shall stay.

The seconds and the moments
I might have had with you
Must be some indication
Must be some kind of clue
Of hope in my existence
Of worth in all that's lost
You'll be mine in my daydreams
And there will be no cost

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Ultio, in the year 26 AM.
