From my depths I cry

From the depths of me I cry, O Goddess
From the depths of me I groan and ache
I plead with the heavens behind the clouds
Do not hide your face from me

Where is Peace that cannot be explained?
Where is motivation to grow?
Where are you?

I have tried, O Goddess, I have tried
No longer do I attempt
I am none I am nothing I am uncapable

Gather up my heart, O Goddes
Collect then all my tears
Wash me in their warmth
Wash me of their memory

I have not walked away from you!
I have not turned my back on your teaching!
I stand here the same

Beaten and battered
Heart broken and rejected

I am lost and dying in my pain

Find me again my Goddess
Reach out your hand
Pull me back into your embrace

Wrap me in your warmth

Grant me peace

Noralie

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Solis, in the year 600 AD.
