An Archknight Vessel for an Entity

For some time the entity known as Cadra has been roaming about Aetherius in pursuit of knowledge and growth. Two months ago, she appeared before the altar of the Merciless where Menoch, Ihsan, Izila, Saidenn and Eveline were gathered. It quickly became evident that Cadra wanted a body and required assistance to do so. Some were suspicious about the entity's motives, but Menoch was insistent that they aid her as he hoped she would prove useful to the Empire in the future.

Cadra requested that the Stavennites bring her a recently slain body to contain her form. Ihsan stepped forward and claimed that the Archknight Arnatta would be the most fitting, as it would ensure the entity would know both strength and Imperial loyalty. As Arnatta is one of very few Archknights in Aetherius, this caused some controversy amongst those gathered, but in the end Ihsan challenged the Archknight and defeated her in combat.

Cadra inspected the corpse inquisitively and slowly seeped into the vessel before her. The Stavennites watched as Arnatta's body rose and immediately began to decay, leaving only the skeleton behind. The bones formed a sphere around the entity which abruptly exploded outwards, revealing the waif-like form of Cadra. The entity expressed her delight with her new body of graven bone, though somberly vowed that she would not forget the weighty gift she was given and her word to upkeep the oaths of Stavenn.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Letum, in the year 23 AM.
