The heroes of magick have obtained the final soulgem, with Aeorden dealing the fatal attack to the Skinwalker. Although Vilzingyr possessed many of the assembled combatants, leading some to death, his strength was no much for the might arrayed against him.

Before he died, Vilzingyr gleefully mocked the forces of magick in their attempts, echoing the previous warnings that the actions of the mortals only serve the demons' purposes. Still, the champions persist, hurtling headlong towards the rumoured end of the world.

One last month remains before the final gate can be opened and the demonic stronghold will be fully empowered. Will other champions rise to the call in an attempt to wield the ancient power building up in the stronghold, or will the forces of magick walk unscathed through the final gate and into the great rift?
