The Resurrection Update

Written by: Jeremy

The following changes are now live.

After a lengthy discussion with the Combat Council, the following update to resurrection skills has been made to improve combat by slowing down how often people can be resurrected. In a single encounter, the following changes will give you about three lives per battle, before you will need to run through the entire death sequence.

If there are any problems, please BUG them immediately. If you notice any major design oversights, please feel free to message me directly.

Change Log
----------
Characters may only be resurrected once every 10 minutes using the following skills or items:
- Submerge
- Aspect Resurrect
- Aryana Obelisk
- Devotion Resurrection
- Necromancy Animate
- Shamanism Resurrect
- Supremacy Resurrect
- Voice Nartae
- Devotion Redemption
- Devil Salts
- Onyx Soulstone
- Spirit Beacon

This resurrection cooldown does not effect the following resurrection options. However, these four items are on their own, shared cooldown.
- Angel Idol
- Torc of the Dead
- Combustion
- Starburst Tattoo

The cooldown time for Starburst, Combustion, the Angel Idol, and the Torc of the Dead is 60 seconds. It was previously 30 seconds.

Those four options operate in the following order: Torc, Combust, Starburst, Idol.

Redemption was previously on the same cooldown timer as Starburst. It no longer shares that cooldown as it uses the longer 10 resurrection cooldown.

You cannot activate Starburst, Combustion, or the Torc of the Dead while in combat.

Two Reminders:
- Combustion and Starburst and not raised at the same time.
- Another reminder, the Angel Idol has a 24 hour cooldown.

The resurrection cooldown will be cleared if you visit Charon and complete the ferry passage to return to life.

Damnation will no longer destroy your corpse on death.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Letum, in the year 148 AM.
