Events today have led to the adaptation of the Khandavan forests to the magicks of the Demonic plane. With this change comes the long-awaited Defilers. These Demonic sages possess arts taught to them by Roudimus, a treant of the Al'drym. Those seeking to learn the arts of the Defiler may do so by seeking out Roudimus in Khandava's Monarch Square and typing: ASK ROUDIMUS APPRENTICE.

For a period of two weeks, all current citizens of Khandava may, should they choose, leave their professions without lesson loss, to accommodate transition to the Demonic circle. However, leaving the city or learning a new profession will repeal this benefit.

Artifact flails have been added to the list of artifacts to accommodate Defilers, as has an Aphotic Sieve.
