The Forgotten Mausoleum

Ready for action, Belok, the mining chief of Khauskin, ventured towards
Enorian in search of help for a self-proclaimed pest problem. The miners
had evidently stumbled upon a gold vein in their mining efforts, but the
presence of the Consanguine in the caverns had made taking advantage of
this new find troublesome to say the least.

Upon arriving in Enorian he was greeted by Yeras, and shortly after
Kerryn. In but a few moments the two had assisted Belok in gathering a
small army to which the Dwarf soon began explaining his plan to. The
group, Issy, Sen, Tenshyo, Yeras, Mileta, and Kerryn, would charge in on
the Consanguine, saving Mihail, their leader, for last. Upon confronting
Mihail, Belok would ignite an explosive and shepherd the group out to
hopefully leave nothing but a splattered paste behind where Mihail once
stood.

Tenshyo lead the group into battle with Yeras' aid, and with Belok
swinging valiantly beside the assembled makeshift army, the Consanguine
were shortly eliminated. The battle culminated in a confrontation with
Mihail that ultimately ended with the unfortunate Vampire receiving a
mouthful of explosive, which only moments later did precisely what Belok
had planned for.

Before celebrations could get too far underway the group noticed a
strange gaseous substance leaking forth from the cavern. It took little
time for this substance to build up before blowing an enormous hole into
the cavern floor that revealed a cramped passageway between stones. At
the end of this crevice was an ancient stone bridge that spanned across
an enormous chasm towards a looming stone building.

Once inside, the assembled adventurers took note of a number of
reanimated Dwarves that seemed to shudder and convulse upon death, only
to be resurrected moments later. A path was fought through these Dwarves
that lead up to the top of the stone structure and to a man named
Belmith. Talks began with Wylliam and Xavin acting as translators of the
Necromancer's broken Dwarven, but it was clear he did not wish to be
bothered as he kept speaking of a deal with the Empire.

It was Kerryn who launched the first blow, and ultimately her who
delivered the last as a fight erupted. Belmith was slain, but according
to Belok, only temporarily. Belok mentioned a tale of this Belmith he
was told as a child. A tale of a horrific Necromancer who was banished
away, punished to live the rest of his eternal life with only a pile of
corpses far underground. Belmith was locked away, trapped eternally by
some ancient magic that would not allow him to leave what was now
revealed as his beloved Mausoleum.

The Mausoleum is a dangerous place no doubt, and Belok was certainly in
no rush to return to it. He issued only a grave warning that Belmith
will return to his Mausoleum, and he is not to be trifled with.
