Leadership

Syndra,

I have a few pieces of advice for you, if you have time to read this after you finish your novice tasks in Minia and Lodi.

First, stop taking credit for your army's victories. As impressive as these scant victories in years of failure are, a true leader does not take personal credit for their army's strength. You insult all who follow you by doing so. Asking Hashan how much of their city you destroyed merely lessens you in the eyes of those you try to impress.

Second, let your actions speak for you. If you have to write lengthy missives trying to convince everyone you are scary, you are likely not very scary. Similarly if you allow others to write lengthy missives trying to convince everyone you are worthy of leading Mhaldor's army.

Third, your appointment as Mhaldor's Lord Marshal is oddly appropriate. You are about the age where playing with toy soldiers is natural, which is about the strength of Mhaldor's army in reality.

Bring "your" might to bear upon the Dawnspear if you feel so inclined. Do remember to remind your warriors to set their shipreturns before doing so, however, that your city may once again feign strength by completely abandoning your Master's land.

Good luck.
