Greetings Sapience,

Last month I mentioned another Arena event. This event will take place in Sarapin 17. The event, is a Bait the Frog game, a game of basically an even playing field that represents what the Alchemists had brought into the realms defeating Eleusis's hold over curatives. As before we will gather a half day before the event for a bit of history, and then on with the games. The top three will win points toward the end of the festival.

Please note: All designs should be turned in by the end of this month, I will not accept them after. Don't forget your tickets for the ball, they will be on sale until the middle of Glacian, all tickets are 10k, without a ticket, you will not be admitted, and the tickets will be mailed out at five to seven months before the ball.

Now for some history, the three planets that once orbited Achaea had been destroyed sometime before, the three are now the rings of Achaea for those of you who are not aware. In a conversation with the Smith, Lord Phaestus, the Dark Father they discussed the sadness and the loss of the "Traveling Stars". Lord Phaestus told Lord Twilight that not even He could make something from nothing. So the Dark Father offered Lord Phaestus "a cold and lifeless rock glistened at a distant edge of the multiverse: a lump of unmoulded clay." After a bit of deliberation Lord Phaestus accepted the commission and began the construction of the planet.

The distant planet was drawn close, and a star fell, unnoticed by Lord Phaestus fell far to the south. The Children of both the Dark Father and Lord Phaestus gathered material for the fledgling world. Obsidian and quartz piled up along with more mundane material and were smelted down to be worked in.

A guard from Ka'adoki lost his mind and demanded to take his place among the Divine, but when people paid attention to him it appeared he had a black crystal on his belt. Guhem captured this crystal, and it nearly drove him mad. He attempted to bury it, but it was taken by Sharbrena, the Cleric of Darkness.

The black crystal was propelled into the new world at the very peak of Lord Phaestus' work, in the midst of it, His hammer missed, only once, and then he returned to His previous rhythm. Completed, the Dark Father named the new planet Nurazar, and when the dawn broke, it lay within the stars.

This is merely the beginning of the planet and what happened to it, you can start with EVENTS post 360 and read on for more.

Good Luck!
