Strength and Weakness

Greetings, wayward rogue

It is rare that I put to pen my thoughts on these boards, but your postulating has me wondering upon your assertions of weakness within the Western Isles. Your piece is a masterful work of propaganda, and for that you have my praise. But it stops just there: a work of propaganda.

That Mhaldor has few citizens compared to most is true, and yet that is where our strength lays. Ours is a society of the Elite: the Master's chosen people. You speak as if Mhaldor is weak because of our lack of numbers. I will remind you of the defeat you suffered at our hands: a vast army of Targossians brought down low in Nishnatoba by a small force of our soldiers. It was a slaughter. You relinquished a single shard, and relied upon the help of an Eleusian to turn the tide around near the end. Truly it was a pathetic site to behold, and the several heads of yours that I hold are a tribute unto your failure.

What we lack in quantity, we always make up for in quality. That is something the Dawnspear has yet to achieve, even spanning back from the days of olde Shallam.

Come, wayward souls! Come and see the glory of the West; the beautiful spires of our cathedral and the wonders of our museum. Stand in awe of our rich culture and heritage that the slums of the East are so desperate to forsake. We welcome you with open arms. And whether or not you join our cause, the fact remains that this monument to sentient ascention will be burned into your minds for eternity.

The Holocaust King,
The Inquisitor of Torment
