Kabbalistic initiate,

Mortal weakness and strength are of little consequence to Lord Deucalion. You may have noticed that even in statuary He does not bear weapon, but a purifying golden censer.

As for faith and obedience, these are a natural part of allegiance to most Divine Orders and are given freely. Of we who have chosen His way, as the oath-breaker did, the Righteous Lord demands purity through self-sacrifice. It is not a light duty. But just as the force of Good spurs all towards constant renewal and advancement, so must His followers seek renewal and purge imperfection in ourselves and our surroundings.

To be clear, the Bloodsworn Gods seek to purge not weakness, as you have alluded, but anything which ultimately damages reality. Evil is a selfish perversion of Good. Darkness is a deleterious obfuscation of Light. These harmful forces are not simple variations in the natural beauty of Creation. They are weeds in the garden. They are flaws away from the original design which require correction. Along with the foreign pestilence of Chaos?which Lord Deucalion makes His chief foe?-these corrupting forces are altogether unacceptable in the advent of the glorious paradise which awaits us all.

Finally, understanding is not equivalent to acceptance. It is impossible to tolerate or accept that which would, given the chance, destroy all reality.

If you wish to learn more of the Righteous Fire, I invite you seek out a member of His Order regarding His principles. No doubt neither He nor the Lord of Evil appreciate such blithe comparisons.

In service to the Fire,

Halos Vorondil
