You speak of the inevitability of the end of Creation, of the impending reign of Chaos and Oblivion. Allow me to speak of what I know.

What I know, above all, is the endlessness of Nature. What I know, above all, is the enduring strength of that to which I have dedicated my life. All things are born, all things live, and all things die. From that death comes more life, and the cycle continues on, as it always has and as it always will. The cycle of Nature, of life and death and creation and destruction and regrowth and renewal, existed long before any of us walked these lands, and will continue on long after we cease to be. Such is the enduring power of Nature.

You have destroyed our Icon. This is a hollow victory for you at best. Destruction is a part of Nature, as is regrowth. Those who know Nature know that there are no endings, only new beginnings. Where you see a symbol of the end of Creation, I see only a push towards the next part of the cycle. In the end, Nature prevails.

Hail Nature,
