I know of what I speak, Corporal Hirst - although it seems you do not
know of what I speak of. It is not of you and your enthusiasm to your
cause that I point to in irony, but that of your citymates, your
housemates, and those of your Order. How many of their number left their
cities for Ashtan, sometimes at the expense of those who cared for them?
How many are traitors to Eleusis? The Refugees? Hashan? How many
traitors are in your midst, Corporal Hirst?

Or are your colleagues somehow exempt from your oratory on traitors,
simply by virtue of sharing your path?

You are an extremely rude man, Corporal. I don't suppose that bothers
you much - truth be told, it doesn't bother me very much either; but I
find the hypocrisy in your position to be distasteful. If you wish to be
taken seriously, then I would recommend thinking of your comrades when
you speak moreso than some Serpent in a complacent city.
