Citizens of the Crown,

Over the years, Sapience has gotten used to you being the riders of
everybody else's coattails. You have ever been the forgotten
afterthought, clinging to the waning power of Ashtan or Mhaldor's long
lost might.

Hashan, your time has come.

For perhaps the first time since Twilight wove your wretched city out of
the Northern Ithmia, you have taken a stand. Were it not for the craven
veil of Darkness that you clumsily attempted to draw over it, I might
almost be proud. Alas.

Through your actions, you have earned the full attention and the full
ire of the Lightbringer. Though you even still attempt to cower behind
Sartan's western horde, blaming them for what you did, you will feel the
full destructive force of the Light that She is.

The petty desecration of my Lady's statue, which had stood longer than
most of you have been alive, cannot be ignored. Your city will be the
first to know the true and brilliant radiance of Her Light as it blazes
through the shadows surrounding your lair. Her Light will illuminate the
truth of your pitiful existence.

Sapience will learn from your miserable example. Your city will be
brought to its knees as a lesson to all that Darkness will never again
be allowed to reign glorious over these lands. Twilight's shrines will
be reduced to splinters and dust, and your walls will follow.

Make ready, Hashan. Your time has come.
