Ocean Waltz

Offer me your hand
Share with me this dance
Embrace me and twirl me
Spur these tired feet
As when you once did
Atop the seas of love
Where we would have our dance

Take my steps afar
Away from tragic seas
Captain of my ship
Lighthouse of my shores
A waltz upon heaven
To the shores of joy
Where we would have our dance

Carry me far away
To where the winds fly
Fill my spirit's sails
Let me be the breeze
That carries off our song
Across enraptured waves
Where we would have our dance

Press your lips to mine
Stir the tides within
That always pull to you
Let me float upon them
Drifting ever nearer
Towards eternal shores
Where we would have our dance

Whisper in my ear
Your ocean roars within me
In fathomless depths
Your currents carry me
Lulling me to sleep
Silent bubbles rising
Where you drowned me.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Chronos, in the year 758 AF.
