The Dance

Lady Tarah stood in fear,
Her eyes wide,
At the place where She nearly died

The Lord of Valor turned to Her,
Spoke of love
Up She sprang to the sky above

Changed into a shining streak
A silver light
Pentharian followed, just as bright

Together they raced across the sky
Divine sight
Beautiful stars of light

Weaving, whirling, dazzling all
In love's embrace
Slowly ending the happy chase

I know we're just mere mortals,
But, perchance--
Might I please have this dance?

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Aeguary, in the year 745 AF.
