All Our Love

We wake to a life of adventure
Happiness and excitement
New faces, friends, new family
Dear ones that we learn to love.

We hunt together and laugh together
We register the bloodlines
Stories shared and memories made
Our hearts trust we share and keep.

But time goes on and slowly changes
Loved ones slowly disappear
Retired or gone on long, long journeys
Some not seen in many years

Sadness, empty hearts,
Silent house once filled with laughter
Our hearts ache, we long to see them
But they're not coming back, we fear.

We meet new friends, we do it all over
Smiles return to our sad faces
Sorrow is eased, clouds are lightened
We have new friends to hunt and talk with

But we never forget,
You who have gone.
We miss you.
All our love.

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Miraman, in the year 739 AF.
