Poetry News Post #4716

unto every light, cling

Written by: Nixxe Ashaela, Scarlatti's Weaver of Imagination
Date: Sunday, June 29th, 2014
Addressed to: Everyone

Reach in and pull out a dream
live it all the way
but don't burst a seem
the winner be keen
may not come another day
no wanting only preen
oblivious on the wing
inbetweens all grey
everything but a ring
all there to glean
manoeuvre as supple clay
send it off with sheen
welcome it and help it upstream

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Scarlatan, in the year 658 AF.
