The Empty Corpse
by Caoimhaen

Two years have passed,
And my heart still hopes,
An aching in my chest as you pass by,

Look right through me oh brother of mine,
I am a ghost,
I dont exist to you,

I scream and wave my arms,
You stare blankly ahead,

Silence is like daggers,
Like a sword to the chest,
Like acid that runs down my throat,

In silence you kill, you torture with skill,
You wished for my eternal suffering,
You have it,

Love for you will damn me to such,
But you wont hear my screams to please you,

Smile dear just once for me,
Cry dear brother so that I may see,
What is love?
Does it exist?
To you it doesn't as your soul is an abyss,

Empty husk you are,
Living your life must be so bizzare,
You don't love nor will you ever,
Your joy will be stolen if not forever,

I watch you from afar and I know you better,
You entered that shack and your soul was severed,

Help me dear brother to dig your grave,
As we both know your soul is a slave,
Dead you are, so lets just end it,
Bury you deep so you can rot

Dear brother, you are dead and I mourn my loss,
But rage did consume you and died too soon,
Love never existed in you,
If it it did, then you would not have been consumed,

Pity for you,
Pity for me,
Pity that you can never be free,
Pity that I could ever love you,
Pity that you were never that strong.

So in this closing, do understand,
That if you find your heart,
You can live again,
Forgiveness is the true show of love,
Perhaps one day it will come upon you as a dove.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Aeguary, in the year 650 AF.
