Last one for some time I swear

So apparently there is a fine line between too long and too short so here's a medium one

I'm not ready to let go but you keep slipping away
Why live for tomorrow when I don't want tonight to end
I hold you tight in my embrace but you've already left
What difference does it make if I'm right or you're right

You've left me at these cross roads once again
You expect me to move on and just let my life begin
Do you believe that I am the only one that has messed up
After all the times that you have let me down

So go on, get away and let me be. In my solitude I find sanctuary
I know that this is for the best, but every passing moment I hate you less
Now I am alone, left to my own devices, I need you more than ever before
It doesn't matter anymore, this cannot lead to a happily ever after

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Lupar, in the year 649 AF.
