You

Yeah... I really suck at titles, but I didn't want it to be left without one, so I just went with the flow.

Light rain, I was.
You knew I was there,
But I left not a presence in your way.

A shadow, I am.
Always near you,
Yet nothing more than inferior to your glow.

The darkness, I will be.
Nowhere in your heart,
But forever trying to reach it.

Temptation, you will be.
The center of my longing,
Though always out of my grasp.

My sin, you are.
That of which I cannot have,
Yet I seek you out in great fervor.

The ivory to my charcoal.
The life to my death.
The light to my darkness.
The entirety of my being.

My love, you have always been.
My heart, you have captured.
My soul, in your embrace.

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Ero, in the year 649 AF.
