Vengeance

Rage.
Searing in curling rivulets down the skin of my swift beating heart, white hot, grooves of blackened flesh reminding me of,

You.
A pompous glimmer in your once softened eyes, now, lying with each
pearlescent globe the deep pools overlaid with a floating gem of,

Hate.
Knowledge that it is destroying me, flitting through your rotting
carcass of a mind, once my white knight, now my undead, putrid,

Prince.
Your name shines with the brilliance of an opal, yet, I see only a hole, glutted with darkness and pride, sallowed by a withered,

Sun.
They say it's yellow, but it blinds me with a crystal purity that
reminds me I have a weapon, once which will burn through your,

Soul.
My organs are shriveled, but my silvered core is still intact, you
missed where you were aiming, a mistake that you'll feel for all,

Eternity.
A bleached nothing filled with rickety ivory that creaks 'neath the pure light, it's the only sound, beacuse, I won't hear you,

Forever.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Valnuary, in the year 647 AF.
