Chilling

I awake in the morning, kawhe and news scroll in hand
Half asleep as I read about all that goes on within the land
And to my surprise, what do I see on the front page?
Naught but glorifying the slaughter regardless of age

Rage and anger woke me from slumber's last embrace
Red clouding my mind, my heart's beat beginning to race
For what fool would pompously brag about wanton killing
If this is where Good and Light are heading, how chilling

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Miraman, in the year 645 AF.
