Artist of the Spirit

Written by: Scarlattan Vyln de Irna, Artist of the Spirit
Date: Wednesday, November 20th, 2013
Addressed to: Everyone

How long did I resist
The waking world's allure?
Of song and dance: the Art
The life in which I did persist.

Long, dear Vyln, a tad too long
The violin nigh lost its voice.
It has yearned for your caress
To sing its overdue song.

Awaken then, in furious music
Inflame the emotions within!
Rouse the blood; again I live
As an Artist of the Spirit.

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Chronos, in the year 640 AF.
