Will You Never Die?

We are here again.
I could swear that only a moment ago we had passed by this place.
Left it behind
Lost in the dusty trail that we wandered along in our quest.

You said never again.
Only a brief moment of pain, a needle's prick and it would be finished.
Until you came back.

Now I see you again.
Every second of your breath puffing out in the cold kills my soul.
Venting your lies.
Each syllable punctuated with sly smiles and winks, a circus of words.
Rending my heart.

Don't speak again.
I can't hear you anyway, your mewling bounces off of my disinterest.
Ending this, our travesty
?

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Sarapin, in the year 640 AF.
