Recess!

these words early
prior to recess
back to the surly
after the mess

in the silence of the storm
you left
just as it got good
gone was your form
commited a theft
just burning wood
held my heart
made me smile
made me have hope
quietly you depart
only a short while
and again I cope

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Sarapin, in the year 634 AF.
