Lady

She was born into infamy, simply from a name
in a city, where rumor was a thing
two paths before her
one of honour and of shame

People tell her her name is what makes her path
'foolish for you to think anyone will think any different'
she never said a word, just dreamed through her pain
late at night you could hear her pray

I am going to be a Lady
Someday I?m going to cleanse my name
I am going to be a Lady someday

She listens to people tell her
'you're not worth a salt'
and it breaks her heart
and set her stronger in her path

I am going to be a Lady
Someday I?m going to cleanse my name
I am going to be a Lady someday.

Driven hard by the heartbreak
she chose her path to honour
and works hard every day
with tears in her eyes, you can hear her pray

I am going to be a Lady
Someday I?m going to cleanse my name
I am going to be a Lady someday
Yes, I am going to be a Lady someday.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Scarlatan, in the year 633 AF.
