Public flagellation

All this petulance about your fire,
stoked steel rods, stroked desire.

You grasp in hand, and seek to pen,
scribbling dribbles, you start again.

I seek not to fan your flames,
but help you gain a sense of shame.

Fitz Devi

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Lupar, in the year 630 AF.
