Poetry News Post #4236

Always in my Heart

Written by: Nixxe, Scarlatti's Weaver of Imagination
Date: Friday, January 18th, 2013
Addressed to: Everyone

go like the moon, into the night
thoughts of you upon that sight
like the never-ending, ever-moving universe
you, too, move forth to other horizons
you, too, march in discovery life's mysteries
always thought of, missed, and cherished
a jovial man of splendor to my young eyes
you told me of dreams and dragons
knew everything and gave nothing unearned
gazing at the moon, in it, you I see
always right there, so far away yet the same

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Scarlatan, in the year 616 AF.
