Poetry News Post #4227

bright pig

Eternity ramble on reckless vows,
as Adventure quivers in empty artefact.
The night fiddles with the sun's delight
and Moonlight calls forth frantic fowl
Steaming snow show the way
all around the blueberry bush
Pigment-stained, lost in grain
In darkness we stray
Gathering fermented mush
Others fane to deign
Narrowing an eye from the sky
Serving that which serves them
Loping and moping when goal goes awry
Only your gracious smile can tame like a hymn
Pandering to the wanderer that knows none better.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Scarlatan, in the year 615 AF.
