When the Council of Gods Met

When the Council of Gods met,
To discuss the Bal'met threat,
"To arms, to arms!" Was the call,
So Many giving Their all.

A Few counselled "Not yet",
When the Council of Gods met.
We know not enough,
For Our best rebuff.

Daedalus called for Hermes return,
A month we all waited with concern,
When the Council of Gods met,
Hermes was not back yet.

So a force was led through the rift,
Rival and Allied Gods, all swift,
But They played an unknown roulette,
When the Council of Gods met.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Sarapin, in the year 612 AF.
