Poetry News Post #4148

to the one that taught me

Written by: Nixxe Fol'ia, Scarlatti's Weaver of Imagination
Date: Friday, September 28th, 2012
Addressed to: Everyone

The noise and smell of life carried in on salted air
Open sea, large creatures below lack features
Ocean spray showering the Bough, wetting wood through
Paintings bang about, trinkets strewn here and there
Home away from home, adventure and a fine crew
The things that stay with you

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Scarlatan, in the year 607 AF.
