Nexus coding contest results

Amidst December's madness, I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone that entered into the Nexus Client script contest. We got some really outstanding entries that entirely surpassed our expectations. This has taken us a long time to come to a decision on which ones we think take the top of the heap, and we thank all of you for your patience! We're confident these additions will close several of the most problematic gaps new (and existing) players face when trying to make the switch to the Nexus client from a different third party option.

So, the winners:

In first place and earning himself 2000 credits is Zahan. Taking no prisoners, he has submitted his mapping system - a huge amount of functionality that allows for searching of rooms and pathing to those rooms. This is entirely driven off of Achaea's constantly updating world XML file, so you don't have to worry about mapping things for yourself - its been done for you! Unquestionably the mapper is the thing nearly everyone requires in this day and age, and adding this to the Nexus listing is an outstanding result.

In second place is Keorin and taking home 1500 credits, with her multi person limb counter. This script handles one of the most painful aspects of clientside combat for many classes: the flexible limb counting script. It supports multiclass and dragon, as well as accounting for different weapon types. If this was one of your barriers to switching to Nexus, fear no more!

Last but not least, in third place is Krypton, with his minimal interface submission. Earning himself 1000 credits, Krypton has all of those people that think fancy panels and complex UIs just need to go covered. This interface will massively cut down on clutter and move Nexus back to a more traditional client UI that some people may prefer.

We'll also be handing out several smaller credit prizes for other submissions that didn't quite make the top three, but that are still great additions to the Nexus listing.

Thank you all for participating!
