Due to a lack of maintenance the barrier in the Underrealm almost failed today!

The shards that were used to build this barrier have continued manifesting upon the death of denizens, and these can be used to REINFORCE <stone> at the foundation stones that make up the barrier in Raia'dalam.

At the beginning of each IC year, the city whose citizens contributed most to the barrier maintenance the year before will be granted an attunement.

This attunement allows a person of city rank 4 or higher to TOUCH STONE to open a way into the wastelands of the Underrealm. This may be done once per month per person.

This attunement will last until the year's end or twenty uses, whichever comes first. Once the portal is opened, any may enter. The way closes after two days.

Those who are able to open the way into the dark reaches of the Underrealm will also enjoy boosted experience gain whilst in the dangerous, lawless lands beyond the barrier.
